Fingerprints are important to police investigations because they narrow down suspects.
The things that are in important when lifting a fingerprint, is not to smudge the fingerprint and not to get your fringerprint over the top becuase then the police will think it is you.
You have a good start here, Ella, but I would like you to work on adding detail to your posts. For example you could have included a photo of your friends fingerprints as well, this would have helped add detail to your post.
